ZAGREB, Dec 22 (Hina) - At the closed-door part of Friday's session, the Croatian government was informed about conditions and activities related to the second instalment of a World Bank Enterprise Financial Sector Loan (EFSAL), the
Government's Public Relations Office said. The session, which was chaired by Vice Premier Goran Granic, adopted a draft programme of further structural adjustment with the aim of adjusting and integrating Croatia into European associations, which would be facilitated with a new World Bank Structural Adjustment Loan (SAL). The purpose of the loan is to promote growth and create new jobs, strengthen the market and mechanisms for the promotion of rival markets and improve the social security network. The government also approved the co-signing of a decision on the appointment of Branko Caratan Croatia's ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Sweden.(hina) rml
