ZAGREB, Dec 7 (Hina) - The Croatian parliament's House of Representatives on Thursday morning continued its ninth session by a discussion on a final bill on the execution of the state budget for 2001, regulating rights and obligations
of all state budget users. In accordance with this bill, the government is authorised to issue bonds in the country and abroad, guarantees as well as for the management of the current budgetary reserves, Finance Minister Bozo Crkvenac said. The bill also regulates the decentralisation issue, Crkvenac said and added that in the first half of 2001, 600 million kuna would be earmarked for the financing of local government and self-government, while in the second half of the year funds would be provided by counties and cities.
