ZAGREB, Dec 18 (Hina) - The Croatian president's chief-of-staff, Zeljko Dobranovic, on Monday held talks with International Commission for Missing Persons member Michael Portillo on intensifying cooperation in tracing detained and
missing persons. During talks it was said Croatia was willing to intensify cooperation to that effect, as well as in the exhumation of those established dead, said a statement from President Stipe Mesic's Office. Portillo conveyed Yugoslavia's willingness to step up that process, which Croatia applauded. Dobranovic said all technical preparations and technical support to the process had and could be done through the government's Detained and Missing Persons Office. To that effect, Croatia would support forming a joint political body which would step up activities in tracing the missing and exhuming the dead.
