ZAGREB, Dec 12 (Hina) - The highest average net salary in state and public companies in the first ten months of 2000, amounting to 5,750.38 kuna, was paid in Croatia Airlines, which is a 6.9 percent increase as against the same period
1999. The average net salary in October 2000 in Croatia Airlines amounted to 5,876.34 kuna. The national airline company is followed by the Croatian Waters, where, according to company data, the highest average salary in the first ten months of this year amounted to 5,571.34 kuna. The 'Croatia osiguranje' insurance company follows with 5,473 kuna, whereas the Payment Transactions Bureau (ZAP) reported the highest salary paid in the company amounted to 5,968 kuna. Croatian Telekom registered the highest salary increase in the
first ten months - 17.5 percent. The company is followed by the
Croatian Forest Management with a 17.1 percent increase and the
Croatian Post with a 12.15 percent increase.
The lowest salary increases were reported by Croatian Radio
Television (3.09%), Croatian Lottery (3.58%) and 'Croatia
osiguranje' (4.93%).
