GOVT TO HOLD EXTRAORDINARY SESSION ON MONDAY OVER DRAFT BUDGET

ZAGREB, Dec 7 (Hina) - Prime Minister Ivica Racan announced on Thursday evening that the government would probably hold an extraordinary session on Monday over the draft budget. Parliamentary procedure binds the government to give its opinion about changes to the draft state budget for next year submitted to the parliament, Racan told reporters after his meeting with President Stjepan Mesic at the government building. Answering a reporter's question, Racan said that at the closed part of today's session the government had also discussed cooperation with the Hague war crimes tribunal (ICTY) and that the public would be informed about its conclusions.
