SISAK/ZAGREB, Nov 29 (Hina) - The Croatian Mine Action Centre's (HCR) Council has decided to try together with the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare to find the most favourable solution for social problems of mine removal experts,
the HCR said in a statement on Wednesday morning. According to the statement, the HCR Council held a session on Tuesday to discuss the issues referring to the status and rights of mine removal experts. The HCR Council decided to instigate procedure of Croatia's joining of the International Test and Evaluation Program (ITEP) for humanitarian demining. The Council considered possibilities for intensifying scientific and research activities inside the humanitarian demining system. It endorsed a draft agreement on the establishment of a council in charge of co-ordination of demining activities in south-eastern Europe and decided that it would take part in the set-up
