BRIJUNI BRIJUNI, Nov 17 (Hina) - A seminar called "Local Governments -- Initiators of Development" gathering representatives of Croatian towns of Pazin, Rovinj, Vukovar and Varazdin, as well as 17 towns from countries of the Southeast
Europe; Bosnia-Herzegovina, Yugoslavia and Albania, ended on the island of Brijuni Friday. The conference was organised by the Istria County and Italian region Toscana. Participants of the meeting agreed on forms of cooperation of local units in areas of utility systems, economic development, particularly small and middle-scale entrepreneurship. A declaration was adopted at the end of the conference, concluding that the participants would request concrete support for the realisation of particular projects, especially of the Toscana region and other subjects in Italy, so local self-government units in the Southeast of Europe could be allowed admittance to financial funds of the European Unio
