ZAGREB, Nov 16 (Hina) - A delegation of the European Commission allocated 200,000 euro to Croatian non-govenment organisations for projects aimed at reconciliation and the return of refugees and the creation of an active market
economy and sustainable development, the European Commission officials said in Zagreb Thursday. The European Commission has been financing the revival of activities in war-affected areas of Croatia since 1996. A total of 400,000 euro has been allocated for activities of so-called small proportions, to spur the work of small non-government organisations at a local level dealing with education, the rights of women, culture and independent media.
