ZAGREB, Nov 16 (Hina) - Croatian President Stipe Mesic on Thursday left for the United States to attend the celebration of the fifth anniversary of the signing of the Dayton peace accords for Bosnia-Herzegovina. "The Dayton Agreement
must be implemented in full. All in Bosnia-Herzegovina are interested in this, as is Croatia as its neighbouring country, but also the European and international community," because this is the only way in which progress can be made in solving the situation in Bosnia, Mesic said ahead of his departure. Mesic also commented on the results of the recent Bosnian elections. "I believe something essentially different has occurred in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Voters have began opting for European-affiliated parties, which is truly a great first step, considering that the elections in Bosnia so far had been mostly censuses," Mesic asserted. The conference dedicated to the Dayton peace accords will be held on Saturday
