ZAGREB, Nov 10 (Hina) - Friday's talks between Croatian Agriculture and Forestry Minister Bozidar Pankretic and Czech Ambassador to Croatia Jiry Kudela focused on the possibilities of improving economic cooperation and liberalisation
of trade between the two countries, which should enable greater trade of agricultural products, cattle and mechanisation. Considering foreign trade, the two officials said it was very low and significantly below possibilities and economic interests of both countries. Furthermore, both sides concluded that greater cooperation could be possible in the fields of ecology, using Czech experiences in the production of bio-diezel fuel, and exchange of experiences in the process of adjustments of regulations for entering the EU. economic cooperation and liberalisation of trade between the two
countries, which should enable greater trade of agricultural
products, cattle and mechanisation.

Taking into consideration the course of negotiations on an
agreement on free trade, the two officials stressed that the first
round of talks had been completed with an agreement on the framework
and text of the agreement in September; a date will be set in the
next few days for a continuation of negotiations, the Ministry
said.
