ZAGREB, Oct 30 (Hina) - The National Council for Work Safety, a tripartite body established by the Government at the start of the month, held its constitutive session Monday, the Labour and Social Welfare Ministry reported. The task
of the National Council is to examine laws and other regulations protecting the safety and health of working persons, to motion laws and their harmonisation with international regulations, preparing expert suggestions for the Government's policy and measures of work safety, and the revision of the system and policy of work safety. Members of the Council agreed that they motion a working plan for next year. The Council comprises representatives of the Government, unions and employers, as well as independent experts.
