MARTIN RAGUZ - NEW CHAIRMAN OF BOSNIAN MINISTERIAL COUNCIL

SARAJEVO, Oct 18 (Hina) - Bosnia-Herzegovina's House of Representatives on Wednesday appointed a Croat deputy, Martin Raguz, as the chairman of the Council of Ministers. Under regular procedure, Raguz replaced Bosnian Serb Spasoje Tusevljak, as replacements were made in the Bosnian three-man Presidency in accordance to a similar rotating system. Tusevljak will stay in the Ministerial Council where he is the minister in charge of the state treasure, whereas Raguz will continue to be the minister in charge of human rights and refugees. Only deputies from the Social Democratic Party (SDP) were against the confirmation of Raguz's candidacy, explaining that the SDP was in principle unsatisfied with the work of the Council.
