ZAGREB, Oct 30 (Hina) - The issues of legal and property heritage
are the most important in Europe's Southeast, regulating relations
among all countries in the region, deputy speaker of the Croatian
National Parliament, Zdravko Tomac, said Monday during talks with
the State Secretary of the Polish Foreign Minister, Andzrej
Ananicz.
"Croatia will insist for this stance to become an integral part of
the Zagreb Summit declaration," Tomac said.
He stressed Croatia's wariness towards changes in the Federal
Republic of Yugoslavia, as changes have only just begun on the
Balkans, which are not easy.
He warned about euphoria reigning over the international community
as if everything had been solved in the FRY. He held he saw no
solution to any big problem, such as the territorial integrity of
the FRY, its relations with Bosnia-Herzegovina and succession to
the former Yugoslavia, the Parliament's public relations office
said.
Ananicz said he had high expectations from the Zagreb Summit,
especially regarding relations among the states in the region and
the establishment of a future political direction, which is an
integrated Europe in which every people will find its place.
for now it is most important that peace is maintained, and solutions
will come by themselves, he said.
Tomac asserted the international community must be careful so as
not to bring into question the survival of the new authorities in
Croatia through new injustices towards the Croat people, bringing
everything back to square one.
