ZAGREB, Oct 27 (Hina) - Croatia's Deputy Foreign Minister Vesna Cvjetkovic-Kurelec met the state minister at the German foreign ministry Christoph Zoepel in Berlin on Friday, the Croatian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Cvjetkovic-Kurelec is accompanying President Mesic on a two-day visit to Germany. During talks, she and Zoepel pointed to the importance of holding the Zagreb Summit on Nov. 24, particularly opening negotiations on a stabilisation and association agreement with the European Union on an individual basis. Zoepel stressed the importance of the instruments and mechanisms of the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe, extending full support to the realisation of all projects planned within the Pact for Croatia, recent changes in post-election Yugoslavia notwithstanding.
