On the contrary, stabilising the economy and clearing up economic ruins are primary issues on which the government is spending more than 90 per cent of its time, Prime Minister Ivica Racan said at the Parliament's House of Representatives Wednesday during question time. Asked by MP Ante Kovacevic of the Croatian Christian Democratic Union (HKDU) why the government was socially insensitive and when the trend of rising unemployment would change, Racan said the assessment the government was socially insensitive was incorrect.
