The Committee, in whose work participated representatives of the President's working group, combed through articles of the draft amendments and ended its session after several hours. "We are left now with a third of the articles and I believe it will all be finished by Friday," Arlovic said on a political show aired by the Croatian Television Tuesday night. "Until then, anybody who wishes to give any suggestions or comments is welcome," he said, adding the completed text of the amendments would be forwarded into parliamentary procedure Monday. The changes to the constitution, envisaging the transformation of a
semi-parliamentary system into a parliamentary one, is expected to
be passed by the parliament between November 8 and 10.
