Croatia has to find a way out of the depression, and this requires
formulating objectives and attracting the capital that will
activate our potentials, he said.
Mesic added that in this respect, talks with top economists and
experts could only result in a proposal which should help the
government set the objectives and solve the problems.
Asked if he was going to dissolve the government unless views on
constitutional amendments were harmonised, the president said he
did not intend to do so.
"I believe we shall come to a draft of the constitutional amendments
which is acceptable for all," he said, adding the promises made
prior to January's elections had to be adhered to.
