ZAGREB, Oct 2 (Hina) - Croatia will postpone its participation in a review conference of the Dayton Accords' Article IV, which is set for this week in Vienna, as long as the Yugoslav side is not able to represent legitimately the
stands of the Government in Belgrade, read a statement issued by Croatia's Foreign Ministry on Monday. The Republic of Croatia is bound to postpone its participation in the review conference for the time being in order to protect the importance and legitimacy of the process within Article IV of the Dayton Agreement. "The Republic of Croatia consistently and fully honours its
international legal obligations and is exceptionally interested in
the achievement of the regional security and safety, in compliance
with standards in the relations between democratic European
countries," it added.
The second review conference on the Dayton Agreement's Article IV
relates to important issues about the subregional security in
countries-signatories (namely Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and
the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia) to the Dayton document and an
agreement on the sub-regional arms control.
