GOVT SUPPORTS WORK OF HOMELAND DEFENCE WAR SOLDIERS' MINISTER

ZAGREB, Sept 28 (Hina) - At Thursday's closed part of its session, chaired by Prime Minister Ivica Racan, the Government adopted a Regulation on Security Clearance as motioned by the National Security Commission. The Government also supported the work of the Croatian Homeland Defence War Soldiers' Minister, Ivica Pancic, the Government's public relations office said in a statement. The Regulation on Security Clearance stipulates a security probe for civilian and military personnel with official clearance to classified NATO data and documents. The Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) parliament party bench initiated a vote of confidence for Pancic. The Government on Thursday adopted the stance that the minister was performing his duties in line with the Government's programme and fully supported his work. The Government also discussed the Financial Report for 1999 of the Croatian National Bank and recommended the
