ZAGREB, Sept 28 (Hina) - A delegation of the Hungarian parliament's constitution and judiciary committee, on Thursday visited the Sabor and held talks with members of the Croatian national parliament's committees for the Constitution,
Rule Book and Political System and for Foreign Affairs. Hungarian and Croatian parliamentarians considered planned changes of the Croatian Constitution. The head of the Sabor's Constitution Committee, Mato Arlovic, notified his Hungarian colleagues of measures the Croatian authorities were taking for this purpose and consequences of amendments. During the talks with the head of the House of Representatives'
foreign affairs committee, Zdravko Tomac, the host and the guests
expressed their wish to further the economic cooperation on the
basis of centuries-long historical ties between these two
neighbouring countries. In this context, Hungarian investment in
the development of the biggest Croatian seaport of Rijeka was
mentioned.
