interest in Croatia's projection of a three-year state budget, particularly in measures the government is to take in order to ensure the implementation of the budget. The IMF official pointed to the need for the maintaining of the fiscal stability. The Croatian delegation and Fisher held talks Tuesday morning, immediately ahead of the opening of an annual session of the World Bank and the IMF. Besides Minister Linic, the Croatian delegation also includes
Finance Minister Mato Crkvenac, deputy governor of the Croatian
National Bank Boris Vujcic, deputy Finance Minister Damir Kustrak
and their associates.
Last night in Prague, the delegation held a presentation for
interested foreign investors in the organisation of Merrill
Lynch.
Investors were particularly interested in the further flow of the
privatisation, particularly in the Croatian Telecom.
