ZAGREB, June 26 (Hina) - Croatian Health Minister Ana Stavljenic-Rukavina and her Turkish counterpart Osman Durmus on Tuesday in Zagreb signed an international agreement on cooperation in health and medicine. The agreement regulates
cooperation in education, the exchange of two countries' experts and joint organisation of professional and science meetings. "The agreement will promote health care in Croatia and will influence the development of health service in both countries", Stavljenic-Rukavina said. Turkey wishes to share its knowledge and experience with Croatia in the field of health, and my wish is that cooperation between the two ministries be the guide in the overall bilateral cooperation, Durmus stressed. Before the signing of the agreement, the two ministers discussed
cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry and the industry of

The Turkish delegation, which arrived in Croatia Tuesday, also
includes university professors who already held talks with their
Zagreb counterparts, and heads of the Turkish pharmaceutical
industry who are expected to meet representatives of Croatian
manufactures of medicines.
Later this afternoon, Durmas is to meet Croatian First Deputy Prime
Minister Goran Granic.
