ZAGREB, Sept 6 (Hina) - A fire broke out at a waste dump at Plano near the coastal town of Trogir (outside Split) at about 04.20 am Wednesday, and the blaze, fuelled by a strong wind, swept through the area burning some 10 hectares of
grass and the low plant cover. As the fire was speedily spreading, a state road - the bypass around Trogir - had to be closed at 05.25 am, and drivers were told to use streets through this town. Owing to a possible danger, local power-transmission lines were switched off this morning. Local firefighters are battling the blaze.(hina) ms
