SISAK, Aug 18 (Hina) - The Croatian Mine Centre (HRC) Council held a constituting session in Sisak Friday, presided by council chairman, and vice-president of the Croatian Parliament, Drazen Budisa. The HRC Council is a Government
body which manages the work of the Mince Centre, and, along Budisa, consists nine members of certain ministries. Friday's session adopted a rule book and amendments to the Centre's Statute, the HRC said in a statement. The HRC director, Damir Gorseta, presented members of the Council the work and organisation of the Centre, and the national programme of anti-mine action. The programme envisages mine removal of all terrain laid with mines in Croatia by the year 2010. The Council adopted the programme unanimously, but members held that there could be problems in its implementation due to a lack of funds.
