SARAJEVO, Aug 17 (Hina) - Five persons were killed in a mine-field near Rogatice in eastern Bosnia-Herzegovina, the spokesman for the United Nations Mission to BH, Douglas Hoffman, told Hina on Thursday. According to data available to
the UN Mission, three persons were killed while attempting to retrieve two persons killed in the mine field on Monday. The circumstances of the tragedy remain unclear, but it is known that among the casualties are a Bosnian Serb policeman, a mine-removal expert, and a Swiss citizen, most probably a consultant of a local mine-removal agency. The UN spokesman said there existed data that another person, probably an interpreter, suffered serious injuries in the explosions.(hina) ha
