BRCKO BRCKO, Aug 11 (Hina) - Charges have been filed Friday against six Croats and three Serbs for causing incident in the village of Gredice near Brcko Thursday, deputy Brcko District commissioner, Mirsad Haseljic, said. The first
incident occurred around 2pm Thursday when two Croats, potential returnees to this Bosnian region visited the current resident in their pre-war home. A fight broke out in which two Serbs were lightly injured and the two Croats heavily injured. Apparently the weapons used in the fight were an iron bar and an axe. The second incident happened around 8pm when a group of about fifty Serbs, currently occupying Croat homes in the village, blocked the road accessing the village, and attempted to draw out some Croat returnees. Police intervened. The third incident occurred around 10:15pm when, according to Haseljic, a hand grenade had been launched into the home of a Croat returnee to the Gredice village.
