Hodak said the appeal was accepted after one of the witnesses was questioned in Germany. He added that his client, against whom an investigation was launched on July 24, would be released on bail. Hodak said the hearing of witnesses in the investigation against Zubak, which was announced for Friday, August 4, would be postponed until mid next week due to the absence of a witness. attorneys Zvonimir Hodak and Marijan Pedisic against the court

Zubak is charged with forging an official document, that is, a
contract with the German company Volkswagen and with abusing his
powers in business operations thus realising an illegal gain of
33.5 million kuna.
