PUNAT, July 29 (Hina) - A boat for quick intervention in cases of sudden sea pollution was launched on Saturday in Punat, on the northern Adriatic island of Krk. The boat, which was constructed in the Punat shipyard, is 13.1 metres
long, 4.4 metres wide and 2.4 metres high. Its design and construction enables it to sail in special Adriatic conditions, it can easily pass through straits and anchor in forbidding coastal stretches. Environmental Protection and Zoning Minister Bozo Kovacevic said at the launching ceremony he hoped the construction of this boat was the beginning of a successful cooperation between the Ministry and the Punat shipyard.(hina) rml
