SIBENIK SIBENIK, July 1 (Hina) - A sports plane with three Swiss nationals, flying from Dubrovnik to Vrsar in Istria, crashed off the coast near the central Adriatic town of Sibenik around 11am on Saturday, the Sibenik county police
department reported. Two members of the plane's crew, which crashed between the islands of Prvic and Tijat, were rescued by local residents from Prvic, who saw the crash and sailed in a boat toward the site of the accident. The third passenger, who sank with the wreck, was recovered around 3pm after an intensive search by the maritime police, divers and a Croatian Army helicopter. The rescued passengers have been taken to the Sibenik hospital and their lives are not in danger. The causes of the accident have not been identified yet.(hina) rml
