ZAGREB, July 22 (Hina) - Traffic on roads leading from the mainland to the coastal region has been heavy since early morning hours, the Croatian Auto Club (HAK) reported on Saturday. The line of vehicles waiting to enter the
Zagreb-Karlovac highway is 7-8 kilometres long and the police are redirecting traffic to the old Karlovac road. Traffic through the city of Karlovac is slow but no major delays have been reported. Traffic has intensified also on D1 road toward Plitvice and D3 road toward Rijeka. There have been no delays although vehicles are moving in lines. Ferry ports have introduced the maximum number of ferries and no delays have been reported. Freight vehicles weighing more then 7.5 tonnes are banned from roads until 2 pm today.
