ZAGREB/DUBROVNIK, July 17 (Hina) - The first six months of this year saw 136,639 passengers travelling via the airport of the southern Croatian town of Dubrovnik. This was by 108 percent more as against the same period in 1999 and 39
percent more as against the first half of 1998, said Dubrovnik Airport Director Tonci Peovic. The management has estimated that over 357,000 passengers are likely to use this airport this year. Seventy-four regular services and charter flights connect the airport in Dubrovnik with 33 destinations in Europe. Weekly there are 20 flights form this resort to the Croatian capital of Zagreb, 11 flights to Ljubljana, Slovenia and five flights to Tel Aviv as well as four flights to Moscow, Brussels and Prague.
