FOLKLORE FESTIVAL OF YOUNG CANADIAN CROATS HELD IN SPLIT

SPLIT, July 10 (Hina) - A folklore festival of young Canadian Croats was held in the southern Croatian City of Split Sunday evening. About 200 dancers from five folklore ensembles from Ontario performed at the festival.#L# Their successful performance in Split was organised by the Croatian-Canadian Folklore Association and the Croatian Emigration Institute, and was held under the auspices of the city of Split. The folklore association from Canada gathers over 4,000 young Canadian Croats. After the performance in Split, young Canadian Croats will perform a series of folklore and tamburitza performances with domestic folklore ensembles across Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
