ZAGREB, July 3 (Hina) - Croatian President Stipe Mesic's spokeswoman Vjera Suman said in an interview with Croatian Television on Monday evening the message President Mesic yesterday forwarded to the ruling coalition that
decision-making should be returned to its legal framework referred to decisions on personnel. "The six (party presidents) have every right to hold meetings and decide about their parties and the coalition," Suman said. "If a statement is made that the coalition makes decisions on personnel issues, the President of the State has to react because resolving personnel issues is not something parties should do but rather the institutions of the system," Suman said. "The President reacted to those statements as a legalist," she added.(hina) jn rml
