Representatives of the Upper House mostly objected the
Government's motion in line with which members of the HRT Council
should no longer come from the ranks of Sabor's representatives,
and that commenting on the HRT be cancelled. Also discussed was a
legal regulation on the subscribtion of a future public television,
namely whether it should be cancelled or not.
Miroslav Rozic of the Croatian Party of Rights harshly condemned a
Government's attempt to privatise the third channel of the HRT and
described it as the greatest robbery of the past ten years.
