headquarters in Washington yesterday, the loan will be used for the preservation of four drinking water wells and the repair and equipment of the water supply system and sewerage. It is recalled in the statement that before the war Mostar had a single water supply and sewerage system, which, like other public utilities in the city, was divided and damaged during the war. Now that the city again has joint authorities, it is necessary to provide the western and eastern parts of the town with a regular and secure water supply as well as regulate sewerage. According to a statement released by the World Bank headquarters in
Washington yesterday, the loan will be used for the preservation of
four drinking water wells and the repair and equipment of the water
supply system and sewerage.
It is recalled in the statement that before the war Mostar had a
single water supply and sewerage system, which, like other public
utilities in the city, was divided and damaged during the war. Now
that the city again has joint authorities, it is necessary to

The loan was granted for a period of 35 years, under very favourable
terms and a grace period of 10 years.
