BH PARLIAMENTARY DELEGATION IN VISIT TO ZAGREB

ZAGREB, June 1 (Hina) - A Bosnia-Herzegovina parliamentary delegation on Thursday visited Croatia's National Parliament. Croatia wants BH to be the country of all of its peoples, without walls or divisions, the chairman of the Croatian parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee, Zdravko Tomac, said during talks with a delegation of BH parliament's Commission for International Affairs and its president Branko Dokic. Tomac later told a news conference Croatia would try with its policy to help BH function as a modern, democratic state. Our assistance to Croats in BH will be transparent, without any lack of clarity and involvement in BH's events, he said. Tomac said today's talks tackled concrete agreements, on social insurance, property-rights relations, trade, and cooperation in power supply. The signing of a trade agreement is a priority in the two countries' relations, and next comes the issue of principle in refugee returns, said Mate Granic, a member of the Croatian parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee. BH's Dokic said the Dayton peace agreement had no alternative, and that everyone was entitled to develop special relations with neighbouring countries. (hina) ha jn
