DUBROVNIK/ZAGREB, June 19 (Hina) - Croatian soldiers and disabled Homeland War veterans should be protected from those who aren't, Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan said on Monday, commenting on a request that Veterans' Minister Ivica Pancic be replaced. The Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) today suggested a vote of no confidence in Minister Pancic, after he announced that his ministry had annulled disability certificates of some high-ranking officers and heads of veterans' associations. It is the legal right of every Opposition to demand that a minister be replaced, said Racan, who is on a visit to Dubrovnik. "As far as I and the Government are concerned, we estimate that Mr Pancic's performance of this very difficult and unrewarding job is very good," Racan said.
