Power Industry (HEP). "We have changed the contract with Enron in some important sections, to the mutual benefit and satisfaction," Racan told Croatian reporters in Prague where he had conducted official talks with his Czech counterpart, Milos Zeman, on the cooperation between the two countries. According to him, Croatia's obligation to buy power provisions at a fixed price in 20 years was cut to the period of one and a half years how much the country will need to restructure its power industry and make a necessary step in privatisation. the sale of power supplies to Croatian Power Industry (HEP).
"We have changed the contract with Enron in some important
sections, to the mutual benefit and satisfaction," Racan told

the two countries.
According to him, Croatia's obligation to buy power provisions at a

four times higher and at more adequate place in Croatia, Croatian PM
explained.
Recalling that this government has assumed international
commitments and that it shall not sever them, Racan said the
alteration of the deal with Enron "is a good example of the
harmonisation of the two parties' interests." This also means that
both partners have determined their joint interest, he added.
We see firm confidence of foreign capital for investing in Croatia,
Racan told the reporters.
