ZAGREB, June 6 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Tuesday received a delegation of the Croatian Cultural Club, Croatia's oil company INA and Lady Jadranka Njers Beresford Peirse, the winner of the award for the promotion of
Croatia's culture abroad for 1999. President Mesic and Lady Beresford Peirse held talks on the so far work of the international foundation for Croatian monuments chaired by Lady Beresford Peirse, the President's Office reported. The Lady informed the President of the next project of the foundation which will organise a lecture on architecture in Croatia after the Homeland War in London in October. Finances raised at the lecture will go to the fund for interior decoration of the library of a convent in the southern Adriatic town of Dubrovnik.
