ZAGREB, June 6 (Hina) - Croatian Parliament President Zlatko Tomcic on Tuesday received Lady Jadranka Njers Beresford-Peirse, the winner of this year's INA award for the promotion of Croatian culture abroad, it was reported from the
Parliament. The award of the Croatian Oil Industry (INA) for the promotion of Croatian culture was established in 1994. Tomcic congratulated Lady Beresford-Peirse for her long-standing work in acquainting the British public with Croatian culture and her activities which helped renovate war-damaged monuments, such as the Sibenik cathedral and the Vukovar monastery. Lady Beresford-Peirse said she was glad to receive the award and added that she would continue her work as the head of the International Foundation for Croatian Monuments in London.(hina) mm rml
