VIENNA, May 20 (Hina) - Croatian National Parliament's House of Counties President, Katica Ivanisevic on Saturday finished her four-day official visit to Austria. During her stay in Vienna she held talks with Austrian Parliament
officials on the cooperation between the Sabor and the Austrian federal parliament and on the exchange of their experiences. Besides, Ivanisevic met local authorities in Vienna and Salzburg. She described the talks she led in Austria as very useful and added all meetings had been conducted in a friendly atmosphere. Ivanisevic said she had been warmly welcomed by her hosts. Salzburg regional authorities voiced the wish for strong ties with Croatian counties and expressed interest in making Croatian and Austrian towns twinned cities as they believed this could promote concrete forms of the cooperation in tourism and economy, Ivanisevic said at the end of her visit.(hina) jn
