ZAGREB ZAGREB, May 28 (Hina) - The Croatian Atlantic Council, a non-governmental association based on the model of such associations in NATO and Partnership for Peace member-countries, was established in Zagreb this week, the Council
said in a statement issued on Sunday. The constituent assembly of this organisation, which promotes the idea of Atlanticism, was held on Friday and Radovan Vukadinovic was elected its president. Croatia was admitted to Partnership for Peace on May 25 at a NATO ministerial session in Florence thus becoming the 26th Partnership for Peace member-country. Following Croatia's admission to Partnership for Peace, a group of scientists from the Faculty of Political Sciences in Zagreb, post-graduate students of international relations and other interested experts on national security realised there was a need to establish an association which would promote Atlanticism in Croatia and support Croatia's speedy a
