GOSPIC DIOCESE GOSPIC, May 25 (Hina) - The Holy See on Thursday pronounced the central Croatian Gospic-Senj region as a diocese and appointed Monsignor Milo Bogovic as its primary bishop. Bogovic said in Gospic Thursday this was a
historic event for the region and for the entire Croatian Church. He asserted, however, he would not ring bells in honour of the establishment of the diocese from ten parish churches which are still in ruin from the Homeland War. Bogovic said "this region should be void of ideologies which feed on animosity among peoples and religions". "Different relations among people are necessary", he said. "Primarily relations between Croats and Serbs, Catholics and Orthodox. Serbs should accept Croatia as their homeland, and Croatia should treat they as its own. The official establishment of the new diocese and the inauguration
