The talks, which were conducted in the Croatian Chamber of
Commerce, were focused on concrete business cooperation.
Recalling Croatians' visit to Kosovo last autumn, the Chamber's
head Nadan Vidosevic said the twice the number of interested
companies in this return visit reflected how great interest was in
the cooperation.
Many Croatian businessmen are taking part in the reconstruction of
the war-hit Kosovo and they see much better prospects of profit than
risk at that market, Vidosevic said and announced that the Croatian
Chamber of Commerce was intending to set up its branch office in
Kosovo.
Kosovo's Chamber of Commerce head, Ismail Kastrati said they were
expecting from Croatia to cooperate in recovery, construction and
trade as well as to offer assistance in the training of
professionals whom Kosovo needs.
At the moment Kosovo is developing briskest business with Turkey,
Greece and Slovenia, while the volume of business with Croatia is
somewhat smaller and Kosovans believe this should be improved.
