DUBROVNIK AND MONTENEGRO DUBROVNIK, May 15 (Hina) - The European Union's Commissioner for External Relations, Christopher Patten, on Monday arrived in the southern Croatian coastal town of Dubrovnik from where he immediately departed
to neighbouring Montenegro for talks with Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic and his aides. Talking to reporters upon his landing on the Cilipi airport Patten said the European Union had ensured substantial financial assistance for Montenegro and in that way it was offering support to that country exposed to the pressure of Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic. On Tuesday Patten is to hold talks with Croatia's Foreign Minister Tonino Picula, European Integration Minister Ivan Jakovcic and Tourism Minister Pave Zupan Ruskovic.(hina) mm ms
