STARA GRADISKA AND BOSANSKA GRADISKA REOPENED STARA GRADISKA, May 3 (Hina) - Heads of the European Commission offices in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia, Joerg Kretschmer and Per Vinther respectively, on Wednesday officially opened a reconstructed bridge over the River Sava on the international border crossing Stara Gradiska - Bosanska Gradiska, 150 km east of Zagreb. The reconstruction of the bridge was financed by the European Union with 1.3 million Euros whereas reconstruction works were carried out by the Inzenjering Djuro Djakovic company from Slavonski Brod. Addressing the gathered, an assistant to Croatia's Foreign Minister, Nenad Prelog, said this was the third bridge over the Sava River linking Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina opened in the last six months.
