ZAGREB, May 12 (Hina) - Croatia's Deputy Foreign Minister Vesna Cvjetkovic Kurelec will participate in a conference on south-east Europe, to be held in Tokyo on May 15/16, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement. The conference will
gather experts and politicians from the host-country, south-east European countries, and G-8 countries. It is expected that high officials of the European Union, United Nations, Stability Pact, and the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe will participate as well. The aim of the conference is the renewal of the Japanese-European dialogue which was suggested during a recent visit of Japanese Foreign Minister Yohei Kono to Europe. According to the statement, the conference will be an opportunity for the Croatian representative to present the achievements of Croatia's foreign policy outside of Europe and intensify Croatia-Japan relations.(hina) mm rml
