SISAK, May 9 (Hina) - Sarajevo will host an international conference on humanitarian mine-clearing on May 10 and 11, Croatia's Sisak-based Mine Action Centre (HCR) said in a statement on Tuesday. The conference will give interested
countries from Southeast Europe an opportunity to appeal to wealthier counterparts for more substantial assistance in mine-clearing. The conference is organised within the Stability Pact for Southeast Europe, with the intention of ensuring better financing for mine-clearing projects which have been submitted at a recent donors' conference in Brussels. Representing Croatia at the conference will be HCR manager Damir Gorseta.(hina) ha mm
