ZAGREB, May 5 (Hina) - Croatian First Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic said Friday the Government would discuss suggestions made by President Stipe Mesic that the residence the Government had intended for the President be donated to
the Zagreb University. Discussed will also be his other suggestion that respect to the Croatian people and state no longer be paid at Medvedgrad on Mount Medvednica overlooking Zagreb, but rather in front of the sculpture "History of Croatians" in front of the Dean's Office downtown. "We will consider this and make an appropriate decision," Granic told reporters after a Government session Friday. Mesic voiced his suggestions on Thursday during a visit to the Zagreb University. He held that the villa intended for his residence could be used by the University as a club for university professors.(hina) lml jn
