PULA PULA, April 14 (Hina) - Croatia's Health Minister and the chairwoman of the Croatian society for human genetics, Ana Stavljenic-Rukavina, on Friday opened a two-day seminar on the human genetics in the coastal town of Pula. The
event has drawn about hundred doctors and scientists from member-countries of the Alps-Adriatic group. Minister Stavljenic-Rukavina assessed the seminar as very important for the exchange of experience in detecting risky genetic factors in the appearance of serious diseases. It can also help plan joint research and projects in this field, she added. Croatia's European Integration Minister Ivan Jakovcic addressed the participants in the event as well.(hina) ms
